Understanding Your Biases; how do they Affect Your Life? - Hear 2 Help You

Dave Rankin
Published on 13 Nov 2019 / In Education

“I have yet to see a piece of writing, political or non-political that does not have a slant. All writing slants the way a writer leans, and non man is born perpendicular.”
E.B. White

Today on Hear 2 Help You, Dave and Simone continue with their Media Literacy lessons and today they take on biases, and how they affect our lives. It is hard to recognize our own biases, plus we also have to spot (and correct) other people’s biases. Our friends have biases, Facebook has biases, YouTube is filled with biases. Today the show will help our viewers learn how to ask the right questions, and to accept their own slant on life. WE encourage viewers to start picking apart the news they receive and to start challenging the news they receive.
